The Casa Batllo in Barcelona is a amazing building restored by Antonio Gaudi and Josep Maria Jujol, built in 1877 and remodelled 1904-1906. The building is also often known as Casa dels Ossis - the house of bones!
It is an amazing building showing off Gaudi's style. The mosaic made of broken ceramic tiles, the rood arched like the back of a dragon, the organic shapes and stain glass windows are really inspiring.
Antonio Gaudi's i Cornet 1852-1926. His passions were architecture, nature, religion and his love for Catalonia. Gaudi meticulously studied every detail of his creations integrating into his architecture a series of crafts, in which he was skilled such as ceramics, stained glass, wrought ironwork and carpentry.
